User Experience Strategy

We'll help you and your organisation develop processes and methods that result in a better experience for your users.

We provide consultancy about how to best implement a user-centred design approach within your business or organisation. By doing so, we'll help you to develop a clear vision for the design and implementation of your project or product. No two projects are the same, so we focus on providing a flexible, toolkit-based approach to drive improvement. We use ISO13047 ("Human centred design for interactive systems") - which is in itself very flexible - as a baseline against which to assess existing design processes. As with our design philosophy, though, we believe in evolution not revolution.

When dealing with user experience strategy, we focus on:

  • Processes. We'll strive to understand your existing design processes. We'll work with you to identify key areas where implementing change may yield the greatest benefits for the quality of your website.
  • People. We'll talk to your staff to understand their needs and aspirations, and how they communicate with each other. If their skills in user experience design need brushing up, we can train them. We can also provide advice on recruiting the right candidates for user experience roles.
  • Tools. We'll look at the methods and tools that you use within your existing web design process. We'll explore how effective these methods are and consider whether they could be augmented with additional user-centred design methods.
