Stuart Church

Stuart is a user experience consultant and the director of Pure Usability. He combines an academic background in behavioural research with more than 8 years experience as a user experience consultant. Stuart is a member of the Usability Professionals' Association and the Information Architecture Institute. In 2005, he helped to set up and organise the Cambridge Usability Group before relocating to Bristol, where he is now an active member of the Bristol Usability Group. In addition to his consultancy work, Stuart teaches user-centred design on the Diploma in Web Design and Development course at Birkbeck, University of London.

Darius Kumana

Darius Kumana

Darius is a hugely experienced user experience professional who has helped institutionalize UCD in several different organizations. As an independent consultant he helps us to write and deliver the popular training courses here at Pure Usability.

After initial exposure through postgraduate research, Darius gained commercial UCD experience whilst working for top London agencies as an information architect. With over 7 years experience in the field, he has been instrumental in delivering successful web experiences for numerous high-profile brands such as Directline, 3M and Marks and Spencer. As Head of New Media at Cambridge Assessment (University of Cambridge), Darius was instrumental in creating a centre of excellence for user-centred design.

Darius is currently Head of User Experience at Isotrak Ltd, a market leader in transport management and retail logistics. His current focus is the facilitating the successful integration of User-Centred Design within Agile Development teams.
